A single car garage in the back yard meticulously transformed into a design studio, cuts the daily commute from home down to less than one minute. The walls were paneled in birch plywood expressing the seams to create a modern den aesthetic. The ridge skylight supplies enough natural light to work under by day, as well as a pretty swell set of binoculars to fly over neighborhood birds.
The car door opening has remained intact for future retrofits, currently recessed and set up to house a full length inspiration board and material display rail.
